Lively chatter filled a conference room at St. Paul’s Hospital on the morning of Tuesday, November 13 as staff from St. Paul’s Foundation gathered to discuss the future of Providence Health Care.

At the engagement session, facilitators led 28 people in meaningful conversation and participants had the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas on the organization’s forthcoming 7-year strategic plan (2019-2026).

The importance of culture was a theme that recurred throughout the session. One participant suggested that, in order to come alive, PHC needs to ask point of care staff what they need in terms of support because it is those on the frontlines who bear the brunt of any change.
