Providence people made an impression earlier this summer at the 2022 edition of the Quality Forum, including two who walked away with top prizes.

The annual conference, hosted by the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council (BCPSQC) , features three days of talks, presentations and interactive workshops on improving quality across the continuum of care.

The event attracts health care professionals from across the province, including those who participate in showing off storyboards and rapid-fire talks.

Over 90 storyboards were displayed over the course of the event, all showcasing months of research and improvements across the health care system.

Dr. Eileen Wong and Jill Hidalgo, along with Prachi Khanna, who presented on her behalf, were two of the six prize winners for their storyboards.

  • Patient Family Partner Christine Wallsworth who has worked with Providence over the past decade was a runner-up for Advancing the Patient Voice at Health Talks.
