Last Friday, June 16, the Mission Integration & Culture team was delighted to host our PHC Long Service and Mission Awards Recognition Dinner for the first time since 2019.

This event celebrated and honoured 230 staff and 5 volunteers who have reached significant career milestones of 25 years or more in 2022.

The event also introduced our 2023 PHC Mission Award recipients and shared stories of these incredible Providence people who demonstrate our Mission, Vision and Values every day.

During the evening, attendees were transported back in time with music from our milestone years, and several staff from each milestone group took to the stage to share some of their fondest memories and experiences from years gone by.

The evening saw many staff reconnect with one another, sharing stories and updates on where they are now.

Members of our Senior Leadership Team were on hand to host tables and to help express our thanks to these dedicated staff who have remained with Providence throughout the years.

PHC’s Mission Integration and Culture and Volunteer Resources Team helped ensure the event ran smoothly!

Thank you to PHC’s amazing photographer, Brian Smith, for capturing the evening’s events while also celebrating his 40 year long service milestone!

It was a wonderful night being able to recognize some of Providence’s extraordinary people! It is the everyday contributions of the staff, medical staff and volunteers that strengthen and sustain our foundational Mission, Vision and Values. People are, and always will be, at the heart of everything we do.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating career milestones with PHC!
