UBC School of Kinesiology in conjunction with Providence Health Care is recruiting participants for their newest study: COVID-19 Pandemic and Exercise for Health Care Workers Trial (COPE-HCW). The recruitment drive is in its final week, so don’t delay!

This is a 12-week study that aims to analyze whether a suite of mobile exercise apps can significantly improve the wellbeing and health of health care workers as COVID-19 continues to burden the health care system and its workers.

The team is recruiting all staff and contractors across PHC including:

  • Health care workers (ex: nurse, physician, physiotherapist, care aide, etc)
  • Contractors (ex: security, laundry, food service, etc)
  • Corporate staff employees

You can learn more about the study requirements on their website.

Ready to book an appointment?

The study authors have made it easy to get involved. While they need to conduct phone interviews to ensure your eligibility, you can pick a time that best fits your schedule through the scheduler on their website! Once you’ve filled out the information, an interviewer will get in touch with you at your scheduled time. They’re aiming to recruit more than 500 participants, so the more the merrier!
