It’s time to shine a spotlight on those individuals and team members who have inspired you this past year!  If you know a PHC staff member, clinician, physician, researcher, or team that has exemplified our Mission, Vision, and Values, we want to help you honour them.  Please consider nominating that individual and/or team for a Mission, Keeping the Promise, or PHC Society Award this year.

All awards will be presented at our Mission and Long Service Recognition event in June, hosted by our President and CEO.  Each recipient will receive a plaque, a documentary video highlighting their work, and a $1,000 award fund toward a mission-driven project of their choice within PHC.

Deadline for Award applications is Friday, February 25, 2022.

Mission Award (Team & Individual)

Mission Awards are awarded annually to up to two individuals and one team.   Our Mission Awards recognize colleagues who exemplify a dedication to living our shared mission and values.

Keeping the Promise Award

The Keeping the Promise Award is presented by Providence Health Care and generously supported by St. Paul’s Foundation.  This award honours individuals whose contributions exemplify a dedication to the pursuit of social justice.

PHC Society Award

The PHC Society Award is presented by the PHC Society and supported by the Archdiocese of Vancouver. This award recognizes projects that have been launched within the previous two (2) years which hold our PHC Mission, Vision and Values at the forefront.  This includes any projects which support our commitment to reconciliation.  In recognition of our continued respect for diversity and dignity of all persons, this award also encompasses projects supporting care for visible minorities.
