On behalf of the KT Challenge Advisory Committee, we’re excited to announce that KT Challenge 2023 is open for applications!

The Canadian Institute for Health Research states that “the creation of new knowledge often does not on its own lead to widespread implementation or impacts on health”. There is usually a bridge between research and practice, which is called knowledge translation (KT).

To help support moving research into practice, Providence Health Care, in collaboration with Vancouver Coastal Health, has been hosting the KT Challenge for over six years. In 2021, BC Cancer joined the partnership. The KT Challenge is designed to support teams of clinicians to develop and carry out KT plans to integrate evidence into policy and practice more efficiently and effectively.

There are many reasons to apply for the KT Challenge! Are you interested in clinical practice improvement? Do you want to gain skills, work with a team and mentor to develop a plan to implement an innovative practice change? Join us!

Questions? Join our Q&A on Sept 29, noon to 1.
